I run Joy Media like a nonprofit, only charging my clients enough to pay for work-related expenses, including software costs, technology needs, education, hosting, and legal stuff like renewing my trade name with the secretary of state. My clients fund these expenses, but I don’t make any profit over and above these costs on non-profit work. Check out the chart to see an overview of my monthly expenses.
